Information About Santarem And Our Host
Santarém is a city in the Brazilian state of Pará, located at the confluence of the Amazon and Tapajós Rivers. Santarém is the seventh-largest city in the north region of Brazil.
– In the early 1990s, Pastor Abe Huber was the pastor of the Central Peace Church, with a few dozen members.
– Currently, they have grown to about 3,000 cells, with approximately 40,000 members, including adults and children.
– Their focus is church growth through cells and one-on-one discipleship.
– Also, they have planted 400 churches in the Amazon Basin.
This City Quake will be held simultaneously in two different locations in the city with one of the locations being specific for youth. We are expecting that this may be the largest event City Quake has ever hosted as we are expecting over 2000 people during our day training sessions. All of this right in the middle of Brazil’s Carnivale!
Come be part of what God is doing! Help us Activate the church in Brazil!

No, as long as you meet some basic health and Christian maturity requirements, you are welcome to come along!
The sessions will all be translated into English and we will do our best to provide one translator for every team member as you go out for “Love in Action” on the streets in Brazil. You will be responsible for compensating your translator $20 per day. We will also give you some common Portuguese phrases for you to learn prior to the trip
Yes, that is up to you! You can be a tourist in Brazil before or after the Activation Team trip!
If you cancel for any reason after we have received your payment, this incurs a $600 cancellation fee plus any non-refundable deposit we have paid on your behalf.
We will stay in a hotel in Brazil… normally two to a room unless you request to pay the additional fee for a single room. Usually hotel rooms are OK… simple, small, basic.
“Ever since I went to Brazil in 2000 on my first trip with Randy Clark, I was ‘hooked’ in the best way possible! Brazilian people are so passionate and see so much more of the miraculous than we tend to see here in the US. And yet, most Brazilians don’t understand who they are in Christ and how the Lord wants to use them every day to do the miraculous wherever they go! I believe that the Lord wants to ‘fan the revival’ they have already experienced in Brazil for years and make it 10 times hotter! I believe this will happen as Brazilian are activated ‘in the streets.’ Come with us and help, won’t you?”
