FAQ

Do I need to be a pastors or have ministry experience in order to come on this trip?

No, as long as you meet some basic health and Christian maturity requirements, you are welcome to come along!

As long as we will be in Brazil, can I travel early or stay later than the rest of the team?

Yes, that is up to you! You can be a tourist in Brazil before or after the Activation Team trip! Our travel agent can help with those details.

What about Covid?

Good Question! Right now, there are no restrictions for traveling in Brazil.  Testing is not required nor are vaccinations.  Expect some in the meetings to wear a mask but most will not.  We are expecting a good attendance in this church that holds about 1000! If for some reason the trip is canceled, we will return your payment in full or allow you to apply it to a future trip.

What if I have to cancel because of Covid or some other problem arises?

Normally if you cancel for any reason after we have received your payment, this incurs a $600 cancellation fee plus any non-refundable deposit we have paid on your behalf.   But, if you send us your positive Covid test taken with 7 days of travel, we will refund your payment in full.  In either case (canceling because of Covid or any other reason), you need to discuss the possibility of flight credit or refund with the travel agent or air carrier you purchased it with.

How will we get by if we don’t know Portuguese?

The sessions will all be translated into English and we will do our best to provide one translator for every team member as you go out for “Love in Action” on the streets in Brazil.  You will be responsible for compensating your translator $20 per day.  We will also give you some common Portuguese phrases for you to learn prior to the trip

What type of accommodations will there be?

We will stay in a hotel in Brazil…normally two to a room unless you request to pay the additional fee for a single room. Usually hotel rooms are OK…simple, small, basic.

“Ever since I went to Brazil in 2000 on my first trip with Randy Clark, I was ‘hooked’ in the best way possible! Brazilian people are so passionate and see so much more of the miraculous than we tend to see here in the US. And yet, most Brazilians don’t understand who they are in Christ and how the Lord wants to use them every day to do the miraculous wherever they go! I believe that the Lord wants to ‘fan the revival’ they have already experienced in Brazil for years and make it 10 times hotter! I believe this will happen as Brazilian are activated ‘in the streets.’ Come with us and help, won’t you?”
